Actress Kadambari Jethwani met Home Minister Anita.. Mumbai actress Kadambari Jethwani, who faced harassment from the YSR Congress government met the Home Minister and requested her to provide security and shelter until to solve the case.
She further also requested the Home Minister to dismiss the false case filed against her by Kukkala Vidyasagar. Jethwani sought the AP government to give protection during her stay in Vijayawada. Additionally, she demanded the government to pay compensation for not only the wrongful case filed against her but also for her arrest and the mental anguish she endured. Meanwhile, a significant development has occurred in Kadambari Jethwani’s case. Based on her complaint, the Ibrahimpatnam police recently registered a case against YCP leader Kukkala Vidyasagar and others.
Vidyasagar has been booked under various sections, including those of the Indian Penal Code and the Information Technology Act 2000. The central government has introduced new criminal laws, but the police have included IPC sections in the FIR. The police assert that all the IPC sections are applicable as the crime took place before the month of July. Additionally, it is known that the Andhra Pradesh government has suspended three IPS officers who played a significant role in the harassment case involving Kadambari Jethwani.
