Allu Arjun and Sukumar are poised to break box office records with "Pushpa 2." The film’s popularity is evident nationwide, particularly in the North, where it is giving even the biggest stars a run for their money. Trade pundits are optimistic that the film will reach the ₹1000 crore club by the end of the day.
According to the latest box office estimates, "Pushpa 2" has collected ₹529.45 crore net in India within just four days, with its worldwide collection exceeding the ₹800 crore mark.
On Sunday alone, "Pushpa 2" raked in ₹141.50 crore net in India. This brings the total net collection for its first four days to ₹529.45 crore. Last evening, Mythri Movie Makers announced that the film grossed ₹621 crore worldwide in its first three days, and it has comfortably surpassed the ₹800 crore gross milestone. The next target is ₹1000 crore, which seems quite achievable.
Interestingly, "Pushpa 2" has recorded a significant milestone: the Hindi version's collections have overtaken those of the Telugu version. In four days, the Hindi version has made ₹285.7 crore net, while the Telugu version has collected ₹198.55 crore net.
Additionally, for the first time in Indian cinema history, a film has surpassed ₹200 crore in a single day (Sunday), excluding the opening day.
