The team behind the popular crime series “Mirzapur” is evolving as they work on the third season, according to the show’s director Gurmmeet Singh. The director stated that the characters are maturing as they navigate the challenges of power, moving away from the rawness and aggression of the earlier seasons. Singh also expressed their anticipation for feedback and fan theories for the upcoming season, set to premiere on July 5 on Prime Video. Singh explained, “When we started, our characters were younger and the first season had a raw, aggressive tone, reflecting their angst and struggles in UP. In the third season, Guddu Pandit, played by Ali Fazal, is gearing up to defend his position in Mirzapur against Pankaj Tripathi’s Kaleen Bhaiya, who is also preparing for a comeback.”
