Minister Bhupathiraju Srinivas Varma Champions Sustainable Supply Chain at Delhi Summit

Honorable Minister Bhupathiraju Srinivas Varma, Minister of State for Heavy Industries & Steel, GOI, attended the largest Supply Chain Management and Logistics Summit in Delhi on 28th June 2024. The summit was organized by ET Edge in collaboration with Mahindra Logistics, strategic partner Oracle, and co-presented by DTDC Express.

During the summit, Mr. Varma highlighted plans for the logistics industry, stressing the importance of optimizing the Supply Chain for a Sustainable and Competitive Indian Steel Industry. He also emphasized the need to focus on reducing carbon footprints in the sector.

The summit brought together industry leaders, policymakers, and experts to share insights and explore opportunities for building a more efficient, sustainable, and resilient supply chain ecosystem. In addition to discussions on supply chain management, the summit focused on growing industries such as Manufacturing & Heavy Engineering, FMCG, Retail and E-Comm, and Cold Chain and Warehousing.
