Manny Jacinto Joins ‘Freaky Friday’ Sequel Cast with Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis

Canadian actor Manny Jacinto is currently in talks to join the cast of the sequel to “Freaky Friday”. Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis, who starred in the 2003 movie, are officially returning for the follow-up, as reported by entertainment news outlet Variety. The original “Freaky Friday” movie follows a mother-daughter duo, played by Curtis and Lohan, who are always arguing. One day, their souls are swapped, leading to humorous situations. Details about Jacinto’s character in the sequel have not been revealed yet. Nisha Ganatra is set to direct the movie from a script by Jordan Weiss, with Andrew Gunn and Kristin Burr as producers. Jacinto is best known for his role opposite Kristen Bell and Ted Danson in the popular NBC comedy “The Good Place”. He has also appeared in films such as “Top Gun: Maverick”, “I Want You Back”, and “Bad Times at the El Royale”.
