KTR takes legal action against minister Konda Surekha

Former BRS minister K Taraka Ramarao (KTR) has filed a petition in the Nampally Special Magistrate Court against Telangana minister Konda Surekha, following her recent comments suggesting that KTR was behind the divorce of film stars Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and Samantha.

In his petition, KTR has demanded criminal action against Surekha, asserting that her statements have significantly harmed his reputation. The hearing for KTR’s petition commenced today (Thursday).

This legal battle comes on the heels of another petition filed by film star Nagarjuna, who is seeking criminal action against Minister Konda Surekha for the same remarks. The hearing on Nagarjuna’s criminal defamation petition is set to continue today, with the court recording the statement of the second witness.
