KCR mortgaged self-respect of Party Activists to BJP- Revanth reddy

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has accused former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao of “mortgaging” the self-respect of his party activists to the BJP. Reddy claims KCR did this to get his daughter released from jail and to defeat Congress in five parliamentary constituencies.

Reddy has promised a Rs two lakh farm loan waiver as a “single amount” before August 15, and a Rs 500 bonus on MSP to farmers on paddy to be cultivated next time. He also highlighted the poll promises of his government, including free travel for women in state-run RTC buses, free power supply up to 200 units to the poor, and LPG cylinders for the poor at a subsidised rate of Rs 500.

BRS MLC Kavitha, daughter of KCR, was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) recently in a money-laundering case linked to the now-scrapped Delhi excise policy
