Julianna Margulies Won’t Return for Season 4 of ‘The Morning Show’ Amid Controversy: Insights and Future Possibilities

Julianna Margulies, known for her role in “The Good Wife”, will not be returning for the upcoming fourth season of “The Morning Show”. Sources from Variety revealed that this decision was made before the controversy surrounding a podcast featuring Margulies last year. It was reported that the actor declined an offer to appear in one episode of the Apple TV+ show. Margulies joined “The Morning Show” in its second season as journalist Laura Peterson, a character involved romantically with Bradley Jackson, played by Reese Witherspoon. Even though Laura and Bradley break up early in season three, Laura’s storyline continues throughout the remaining episodes. Insider sources also mentioned that Margulies has been approached about her potential interest in returning for a fifth season of the acclaimed series. Following critical remarks made in a podcast about the Black and LGBTQ community during discussions about the war in Gaza, the actor later apologized for her remarks.
