IRS Officer Inder Pal Singh Bindra Appointed Secretary of India’s Competition Commission: A New Era of Fair Competition Begins

Indian Revenue Service officer Inder Pal Singh Bindra is set to assume the role of Secretary at the Competition Commission of India (CCI), according to sources. Bindra will succeed IRS officer Anupama Anand, who resigned just eight months after joining the regulatory body. Bindra’s appointment is for a three-year term starting from the date he assumes charge. The CCI is responsible for monitoring unfair business practices in the marketplace and is dedicated to promoting fair competition.
