Indian Foreign Minister Expresses Condolences for Kuwait City Fire Tragedy

External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar expressed deep shock over the death of over 40 people in a fire in Kuwait City. “I’m deeply shocked by the news of the fire incident in Kuwait City. Reportedly, over 40 people have died and over 50 have been hospitalized,” Jaishankar said. Most of the victims are believed to be Indians. The Indian Ambassador to Kuwait has visited the site of the fire. “We are awaiting further information. Deepest condolences to the families of those who tragically lost their lives. I wish for an early and full recovery to those who have been injured,” Jaishankar said. “Our Embassy will provide full assistance to all those affected in this regard,” he added.
