 Chittoor: June 26: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu announced that he is going to rewrite the future of the people of the State. The chief minister visited Kuppam on Wednesday for the second day.

At the Kuppam R&B Guest House, where he was staying, a reception programme was held in the morning. He said that youth, women, and weaker sections were given opportunities in this election and 164 alliance candidates were elected as MLAs by the people. They expressed fear of having no future under the YSR Congress government .

In the new cabinet, eight BC MLAs have been appointed as ministers. Immediately after taking the oath, he visited the Polavaram Irrigation Project and Amaravati and signed five promises as per his election commitments, Naidu said.

He mentioned that white papers will soon be released on seven issues, including the economic situation, irrigation projects, Amaravati, the sale of substandard liquor, and underground minerals.

He reminded the audience that it was NTR who introduced welfare pensions for the elderly and announced that the pension amount increased to Rs. 4,000 will be delivered to homes on a specific date each month. He criticised the previous government’s Land Titling Act as a fraud and announced its cancellation.

Photos of Pattadar passbooks will be taken and redistributed with a royal seal. He also announced the upcoming launch of 283 Anna canteens. The CM made several promises to his constituency, stating that water would be brought to the constituency through the Handri-Neeva Kuppam branch canal within a year. He expressed his deep connection to Kuppam Assembly constituency, pledging to repay their support over the next five years.

He announced plans for the establishment of the Kuppam Area Development Authority, a ring road, a cargo airport, and cold storage facilities. After five years as CM, Chandrababu received a warm welcome from the public. District leaders and officials greeted him at the helipad of PES Medical College. From there, he traveled by road to inspect the construction work of his house in Kadapally, Shantipuram mandal.

He also inspected the construction of the Kuppam branch canal in Jalliganipalle and Chinnaridoddi villages. Ananda Reddy and Kiran Kumar donated Rs. 5 lakh and Rs. 1 lakh, respectively, for the capital. CM Naidu will meet Telugu Desam Party members at the PES Medical College Auditorium before leaving for Vijayawada by special flight
