HYDRA has issued notices to BRS MLA Marri Rajasekhar Reddy regarding illegal construction at Marri Rajasekhar Engineering Colleges, specifically MLRIT and Institute of Aeronautical Engineering Colleges in Dundigal. The notices were sent after complaints were received that these structures were built within the FTL and buffer zone of the small Damera pond.
Marri Rajasekhar Reddy has been given 15 days to provide an explanation, and HYDRA has warned of appropriate action if alternative arrangements for the colleges are not made. Additionally, HYDRA has issued notices to educational institutions belonging to another BRS leader, Janagama MLA Palla Rajeshwar Reddy.
The notices were issued based on complaints from the Irrigation Department, alleging illegal construction at Rajeshwar Reddy’s Anurag Educational Institution and Gayatri Educational Trust in the Nadem Cheruvu buffer zone of Medchal district. A case has been registered at Pocharam ITC police station.
There are also allegations that the educational institutions violated the buffer zone regulations for the Nadem pond. However, Palla has stated that the cases were filed illegally and requested the High Court to intervene. The High Court suggested that HYDRA should proceed according to the rules.
