The High Court shocked GHMC Commissioner Amrapali when a petition alleged that blasting hill stones in Jubilee Hills would cause trouble. Hyderabad Collector and GHMC Commissioner have been issued notices to explain the issue soon. Media reports stated that blasting in the residential area of Jubilee Hills was causing problems. Judge Nagesh Bhima Paka wrote a letter to the High Court CJ on this issue, and the court has accepted it as a public interest litigation, issuing notices to the chief secretaries of the Department of Lands and Municipalities, along with the Collector of Hyderabad and the Commissioner of GHMC, to explain the explosions soon.
