High Court denies interim bail to former AP Beverages Corporation MD Vasudeva Reddy

 Vijayawada: June 13: The High Court has denied interim bail to Vasudeva Reddy, former managing director of the Andhra Pradesh Beverages Corporation, amid ongoing investigations into allegations of significant corruption within the Corporation. Numerous complaints have been lodged against Vasudeva Reddy, accusing him of substantial malpractices and unauthorised removal of files from the Corporation’s office.

Following these complaints, the Andhra Pradesh CID officials registered a case against Vasudeva Reddy. In response, Reddy sought protection from arrest by approaching the High Court. His legal team filed a petition requesting interim bail, which was subsequently rejected by the bench. The case hearing has been adjourned to June 18. Meanwhile, CID officials have been conducting inspections at Vasudeva Reddy’s residence, intensifying the scrutiny on him. Given the current circumstances, Reddy’s arrest appears imminent.
