Hero MotoCorp announced on Monday that it will increase the prices of select motorcycle and scooter models by up to Rs 1,500 starting from July 1, 2024. This adjustment is intended to partially account for the impact of rising input costs.
The specific increase in prices, up to Rs 1,500, will vary by model and market, as stated by the country’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer in a press release.
The company clarified that the price revision is necessary due to higher input costs. Hero MotoCorp’s product lineup includes popular bikes such as the Splendor range, HF Deluxe, and Glamour, while its scooter range includes Xoom and Destini 125 XTEC.
Additionally, Hero MotoCorp’s shares were trading 0.46% higher at Rs 5,477.20 apiece on the BSE.
