Heavy rains for Telugu states – Red alert for many districts in Telangana The Meteorological Department has issued a warning for heavy rains in the Telugu states, particularly in Telangana. The department has announced a red alert for several districts due to the ongoing trough in the Bay of Bengal.

The affected districts include Rajanna Sirisilla, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanumakonda, Adilabad, Komuram Bhim, Manchiryala, Nirmal, Nizamabad, and Jagityala. Gusty winds of thirty to forty kilometers per hour are also expected in these areas. Officials have been advised to take all necessary precautions. The authorities have been alerted to be vigilant in the districts where a yellow alert has been issued.

Additionally, people are experiencing health issues due to the cold weather and rain. There is concern among the public as the Meteorological Department has warned of two more days of rain in Telangana due to another trough.
