Guar Gum Futures Climb by Rs 52 to Rs 10,680 per 5 Quintals Amid Strong Demand

The price of guar gum increased by Rs 52 to Rs 10,680 per five quintals in futures trading on Thursday, as speculators increased their holdings due to strong spot demand. On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for May delivery rose by Rs 52 or 0.49 percent to Rs 10,680 per five quintals with an open interest of 47,860 lots. Analysts stated that traders raised their bets after observing a strong physical market trend, leading to the increase in guar gum prices.
