Amaravati: The to be elected members of Lok Sabha will have good prospects this time as per the present political trends. The current political situation seems that the MPs of Andhra Pradesh will have a bargaining capacity at the Centre whether it is NDA (National-Democratic Alliance) or Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) which will come to power.
It may be recalled that that the ruling YSR Congress led by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy won 22 MP seats along with 151 Assembly seats in the State with a landslide victory in the 2019 elections.
However, the MPs could not play an impressive role since the BJP was also in a strong position. They could not bargain anything for the State’s development and it is an open secret. Of course, as per the allegations of the TDP, the corruption cases of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy are also one of the reasons for the situation.
At one stage, the YSR Congress made plans to join the Union cabinet by taking the Central minister posts for their MPs. The proposal has been dropped due to the vote bank of the two parties’ was ideologically different and the leaderships of both the parties also realised this.
But this time the MPs of Andhra Pradesh have good prospects as per the present political situation and combinations. The TDP contested 17 MP seats, BJP 6 MP seats and Jana Sena contested 2 MP seats under the NDA banner.
The YSR Congress contested alone for all the 25 MP seats. The Congress party is a strong contender in one seat Kadapa Lok Sabha.
If the NDA comes to power, the MPs of Andhra Pradesh K Rammohan Naidu, Pemmasani Chandrasekhar (TDP), D Purandeswari, N Kirankumar Reddy, CM Ramesh (BJP), Balashowry (Jana Sena) have good prospects in the Union cabinet if they are elected.

Already the TDP joined the Union cabinet sharing power with the BJP under an election alliance several times in the past. Now there is a chance to repeat the same scene after the present election if the NDA comes to power.
If the 26 parties of India front come to power led by the Congress then the MPs of Andhra Pradesh would also get priority in the Centre. The MPs have always had a scope to solve their demands in the coalition government’s history.
So as per the history and present trends, the MPs of Andhra Pradesh will have a good chance to play some important role in the Centre. The MPs of Andhra Pradesh will have a good time playing an active role in national politics and similarly, the State will also get positive developments in near future.
