Former minister and YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader Balineni Srinivas Reddy has made startling comments about the party’s leadership, accusing them of neglecting his concerns and failing to provide necessary support. In a media briefing on Tuesday, Reddy revealed that he has been distancing himself from the party since the conclusion of the recent elections, citing lack of attention and support from the party as the main reasons for his decision.
Balineni Srinivas Reddy expressed frustration over the party’s indifference towards his efforts, particularly his concerns regarding irregularities with Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs). He stated that despite his attempts to communicate these issues to party leaders, his concerns were dismissed, and he felt ignored. “I have worked diligently for the party, but no one is paying attention to me.
As a result, I have decided to stay away from the party after the elections,” Reddy explained. Addressing speculation about his potential shift to the Jana Sena party, Reddy dismissed these rumors as false. He emphasized that he remains steadfast in his commitment to his supporters, regardless of the party’s stance towards him.
In response to corruption allegations leveled against him, Reddy challenged the TDP government to investigate him through any agency of their choice. “The TDP government is in power, and they can investigate me through any agency they prefer. I have nothing to hide,” Reddy said.
