Former Indian cricketer David Johnson was found dead outside his apartment on Thursday, according to police. A police official stated, “It is believed that 52-year-old David Jude Johnson fell from his apartment in Kanaka Sri Layout in Kothanur, leading to suspicion of suicide.” Further investigations are ongoing. Police sources mentioned that the cricketer had not been keeping well for quite some time. Johnson, a former fast bowler, is survived by his wife, a son, and a daughter. It was reported that the cricketer had played two tests for India in 1996.
