An FIR has been filed against Kannada actor-filmmaker Rakshit Shetty for the alleged “unauthorized usage” of two songs owned by a music company in his movie “Bachelor Party”. Naveen Kumar, a partner at MRT Music, filed the complaint at Yeshwanthapura police station, claiming that the songs “Gaalimathu” and “Nyaya Ellide” were used in the film without proper permissions. The police have sent a notice to Shetty in this regard, and an investigation is ongoing. The complainant alleges that discussions regarding the use of the songs took place earlier this year but were unsuccessful. Shetty has not yet responded to the allegation.
