Fatal Shooting Near Los Angeles College Leaves One Dead, Four Injured

A shooting near a college in Los Angeles resulted in the death of a man and the injury of four others on Friday night, according to police. Homicide detectives were involved in the investigation of the shooting death on the 800 block of Greenleaf Boulevard in Compton, as stated by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. The shooting was reported around 8 pm, and a man was pronounced dead at the scene. The conditions of the other four victims, who were transported to a local hospital, were not immediately known.
