District in-charge Malaria Officer Dr. Mothibabu has instructed all employees to conduct a house-to-house survey as per the orders of the Medical and Health Department. Special teams have been formed to conduct fever surveys in flood-affected areas to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
These teams include malaria staff and municipal corporation staff. Data is being collected in clusters based on the area, and awareness is being spread through leaflets to prevent infections and mosquito-borne diseases. Dr. Moti Babu emphasized the importance of creating awareness and immediately reporting any symptoms of illness to medical personnel. All staff are on alert to provide immediate medical assistance.
Dr. Mothibabu has toured various areas to raise awareness among the people, and the program involved the participation of Malaria Sub Unit Officer Srinivas, Supervisor Sarath, Balram Singh, and PDP staff.
