Congress Surges: Leading in 14 Odisha Assembly Constituencies

The Congress candidates are currently leading in 14 Assembly constituencies in Odisha, according to the latest trends on the EC website. Some of the leading Congress candidates include C S Raazen Ekka in Rajgangpur, Niranjan Patnaik in Bhandaripokhari, Ashok Kumar Das in Basudevpur, Samarendra Mishra in Bolangir, Sagar Charan Das in Bhawanipatna, Sofia Firdous in Barabati-Cuttack, and Ramesh Jena in Sanakhemundi. Other Congress leaders leading in their respective constituencies are Dasarathi Gamango in Mohana, Bijay Kumar Patnaik in Paralakhemundi, Satyajeet Gamango in Gunupur, Kadraka Appala Swamy in Rayagada, Pabitra Saunta in Lakshmipur, Tara Prasad Bahinipati in Jeypore, and Mangu Khilla in Chitrakonda. In the 2019 Assembly elections, the Congress had won nine seats in the 147-member Odisha Assembly.
