On the occasion of Independence Day, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu urged citizens to hoist the national flag on every home and office as part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Chief Minister expressed his support for the program through a social media post, emphasizing the importance of national unity and pride.

In his message, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President N. Chandrababu Naidu stated, “It is the duty of every citizen to protect the integrity of our glorious country. As part of that, on the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we are celebrating ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ for the third consecutive year.” He highlighted the significance of making the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ initiative a national movement.

CM Naidu also noted the special pride associated with the national tricolor flag, which was designed by the Telugu freedom fighter Pingali Venkaiah. “The national flag, created by our Telugu Pingali Venkaiah garu, is a source of pride. Let our tricolor fly over every home and every office,” he said, urging people to display the national flag as their profile picture on social media. The Chief Minister expressed that these efforts would foster a sense of nationalism and fill citizens with inspiration.

He extended his best wishes to the people on the occasion of the 78th Independence Day. On his social media platform ‘X,’ CM Naidu shared a picture of himself holding the national flag, along with another image where he wrote ‘Jai Hind’ on a board. In a related event, a Mega Tiranga Rally was held in Vijayawada on Wednesday to commemorate Independence Day. Hundreds of people participated in the rally, carrying a 3,303-foot-long national flag. The rally, which stretched from Sitara Center to KBN College, was inaugurated by TDP Vijayawada MP Keshineni Chinni.
