Vijayawada: Senior actor Chiranjeevi has delivered a stirring appeal to the people of Andhra Pradesh, particularly those in the Pithapuram Constituency, urging them to support his brother Pawan Kalyan and the Jana Sena Party in the ongoing general elections. The senior actor, known for his captivating performances, took to X to release a video endorsing Pawan Kalyan’s leadership and stressing the urgent need for a transformative change in the state’s political landscape.
Adding fervour to Chiranjeevi’s call, several actors associated with his family, including Sai Dharam Tej, Varun Tej, and others from the film industry such as Prithviraj, Hyper Aadi, Sudigali Sudheer, Getup Sreenu, and more, have actively campaigned in support of Jana Sena. The actors related to Pawan Kalyan’s family have particularly focused their efforts on Pithapuram, ensuring a strong backing for Pawan Kalyan’s determined bid to secure victory in the ongoing elections at any cost and make his mark in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly. This comes after Pawan’s defeat in the previous elections, even after contesting from two constituencies in East Godavari and Visakhapatnam districts.
In his impassioned video message, Chiranjeevi highlighted Pawan Kalyan’s longstanding philanthropic initiatives, underscoring his selfless contributions to farmers, soldiers, fishermen, and other underprivileged groups well before entering politics. “Despite being the youngest, Pawan Kalyan always prioritises helping others,” remarked Chiranjeevi, praising his brother’s unwavering commitment to public service.
Reflecting on Pawan Kalyan’s journey from the silver screen to the political arena, Chiranjeevi acknowledged that while Pawan’s initial entry into the film industry was circumstantial, his foray into politics was driven by a genuine desire to enact positive change. “I told my mother that her son is fighting for the future of many mothers and their children, a struggle that holds more significance than our own pains,” Chiranjeevi conveyed, portraying Pawan Kalyan as a champion for societal welfare.
Describing Pawan Kalyan as a ‘Shaktishali’ (powerful) leader, Chiranjeevi urged voters to recognise his brother’s capabilities and the transformative vision he brings to governance. “He will always stand with you as a warrior and a public servant to fulfill your aspirations,” Chiranjeevi passionately asserted, calling on the electorate to vote in favor of the Jana Sena Party, symbolised by the ‘Glass’ symbol.
Film actor Nani also took to his social media platform to share a heartfelt message with Pawan Kalyan. In his message, he wrote that as you are about to face the significant battle of politics. He wished Pawan to achieve everything he wanted and keep all his promises.
