The Capital News

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said the previous government intentionally damaged the brand image of Amaravati and investors’ confidence. He released a white paper on the present condition of Andhra Pradesh’s capital Amravati.

The total capital development plans were halted and damaged in 2019. The situation pained him after seeing the situation and the entire people of State lost their future, he said

He expressed doubts about the investors’ support like in the past. But the same master plan and development works would be continued in the future too, he clarified. He said the Singapore consortium might not come forward to take part in the capital works.

The State government will invite the top organizations and best practices from across the globe, he said. He recalled that the 130 organizations came forward in the past to set up their establishments in the capital.  If the previous government continued the development, the State’s financial condition would have been different, he opined.
