Hyderabad, December 13: In a dramatic twist to Telangana politics, all eyes are now on the imminent arrest of former minister and BRS working president, K T Rama Rao (KTR). Sources indicate that key political developments are unfolding rapidly as the Governor has given consent to a long-pending matter, opening the door for what appears to be a significant turn of events.

According to reliable sources, the State government has found evidence of major corruption in the Formula E-Car race project. Allegations have been swirling for some time about violations under the previous administration, with reports indicating that funds were misappropriated before formal agreements were signed.

A staggering Rs. 46 crore was reportedly transferred without the required approvals from the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) and the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). In light of these revelations, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has recommended registering a case against two key figures: IAS officer Arvind Kumar, who served as the chief engineer at the time, and former minister KTR.

The State government has swiftly acted on these recommendations, requesting permission from the Governor to proceed with legal action against KTR, who is also an MLA. After thorough examination and legal consultations, it appears the Governor has granted the necessary clearance, paving the way for a major investigation.
