Pushpa 2 Creates History, Crosses ₹500 Crore Mark in Record Time

Directed by Sukumar and starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, Pushpa 2 is shattering Indian box office records. The film witnessed a massive surge in collections over the weekend, especially in the Hindi-speaking regions. According to box office tracking site ‘ShockNails,’ the film earned an impressive ₹115 crore on Saturday alone.

The Hindi version contributed ₹73.5 crore, while the Telugu and Tamil versions collected ₹31.5 crore and ₹7.5 crore, respectively. This performance helped Pushpa 2 surpass the ₹500 crore milestone within just three days of its release, setting a new benchmark as the fastest Indian film to achieve this feat.

Overseas Success

The film is also making waves overseas. Despite a slow start in early bookings, Pushpa 2 gained momentum over the weekend. Reports indicate that it surpassed the all-time North American box office record set by Devara, which grossed $6,078,545. By its third day, Pushpa 2 approached the $8 million mark, demonstrating its strong international appeal.

Released as a sequel to the 2021 hit Pushpa: The Rise, the film features an ensemble cast, including Sunil, Anasuya Bharadwaj, and Jagapathi Babu, playing crucial roles alongside the main leads.
