Family feud sparks tension at Mohan Babu's home

A simmering property dispute between veteran actor Manchu Mohan Babu and his younger son, actor Manchu Manoj, has erupted into a full-blown controversy, drawing intense attention from the Tollywood industry and fans alike.

On Monday, high drama unfolded at Mohan Babu’s residence in Jalpally as 40 bouncers representing his elder son, Manchu Vishnu, reportedly clashed with 30 bouncers brought in by Manoj. Security personnel barred Manoj’s bouncers from entering the premises, heightening tensions.

Vishnu, who flew in from Dubai amidst the turmoil, is said to be attempting to mediate the escalating conflict. Reports suggest that their sister, actress Manchu Lakshmi, also arrived from Mumbai to participate in the discussions.

The family feud reportedly took a violent turn during a discussion on asset distribution at Mohan Babu’s Pahadi Sharif property. Manoj and his wife, Mounika, alleged that they were attacked by Mohan Babu’s followers, including a man named Vinay, resulting in injuries.

Manoj later visited the Pahad Sharif police station to file a complaint, but police clarified that no formal complaint was lodged, despite receiving a distress call on Dial-100.

Meanwhile, hospital authorities handling Manoj’s medico-legal case (MLC) informed the police about suspicious bruises on his body, including his shoulder, neck, and spine. Manoj, who sustained injuries to his leg and shoulder, underwent a series of tests, including CT scans and ultrasounds, at a private hospital in Banjara Hills.

Medical reports confirmed fractures in his right shoulder and other injuries to his back, neck, and pelvis. Doctors have advised him to remain under observation but discharged him temporarily, with instructions for a follow-up. Denials from Mohan Babu As speculation swirled, Mohan Babu took to social media to issue a firm denial.

"There is no truth in the news being circulated about a fight over property or claims that I assaulted Manoj. I urge the media to refrain from spreading false propaganda without verifying facts," he stated on his social media account.
