The Andhra Pradesh government has appointed K Raghurama Krishnam Raju as the deputy speaker of the Assembly,
The Andhra Pradesh government has appointed K Raghurama Krishnam Raju as the deputy speaker of the Assembly, following his aspirations for the Speaker post. Additionally, the State government announced new Whips for both the Assembly and Legislative Council. In the Assembly, Gonuguntla Venkata Siva Sita Rama Anzanneyllu from Vinukonda has been designated as the TDP Chief Whip, with Adinarayana Reddy Chadipirala from Jammalamadugu appointed as the BJP Whip.
Arava Sreedhar from Kodur and Bolisetty Srinivas from Tadepalligudem will serve as Whips representing the JSP. Other TDP Whips include Ashok Bendalam from Ichchapuram, Bommidi Narayana Nayakar from Narasapuram, Bonda Umamaheswararao from Vijayawada Central, Datla Subbaraju (Buchibabu) from Mummidivaram, Divya Yanamala from Tuni, Dr. Vm.
Thomas Gangadhara from Nellore, Jagadeeswari Thoyaka from Kurupam, Kalava Srinivasulu from Rayadurgam, Madhavi Reddappa Gari from Kadapa, P G V R Naidu (Ganababu) from Visakhapatnam West, Tangirala Sowmya from Nandigama, and Yarlagadda Venkata Rao from Gannavaram (Krishna). In the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council, Panchumarthi Anuradha has been appointed as the TDP Chief Whip, with Vepada Chiranjeevi Rao, Kancharla Srikanth, and Pedigu Hariprasad from JSP also serving as Whips.
