Vijayawada: April 10:  Candidates who appeared for the Group-2 exam have submitted an appeal to the Chief Electoral Officer Mukhesh Kumar Meena, requesting him to order the release of examination results without linking them with the election model code, considering the ongoing general elections in Andhra Pradesh.
The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has acknowledged the concerns raised by Group-2 candidates regarding the delay in result announcements. The Group-2 Preliminary Examination, held on February 25, is expected to have its results announced within four weeks, as per the APPSC notification. However, the delay could potentially impact the scheduling of the mains examinations.
Acknowledging the concerns raised by candidates, APPSC urged patience as they navigate the Election Commission’s directives and make decisions regarding the release of Group-2 results. They also expressed readiness to conduct other competitive exams efficiently. In light of these developments, the APPSC has sought the Chief Electoral Officer’s directions to address election-related matters concerning Group-2 candidates promptly and effectively.
