Campus placements at JNTU in Hyderabad have increased, and the average annual salary of placed students has doubled in the past two years. The recently released National Institute of Ranking Framework (NIRF) score for JNTU’s engineering department reflects this improvement.

The NIRF score increased from 42.77 points in 2022 to 45.78 points in 2024. However, the university’s ranking dropped from 76th to 88th place during this period. According to NIRF, the average annual salary for campus placements rose from Rs. 4 lakh in 2021 to Rs. 8 lakh in 2023.
