Big relief to Satyavedu MLA in rape case issue

Big relief for Satyavedu MLA Adimoolam as rape case is dismissed by the AP High Court. A major development has occurred in the rape case filed against Satyavedu MLA Koneti Adimul. The woman who accused MLA Adimool of rape has appeared before the High Court and submitted an affidavit stating that the allegations in the FIR are false. She explained to the judge that the original case was based on false grounds and requested that it be dismissed. After reviewing the details, the judge instructed the police not to take any immediate action and scheduled a hearing for the 25th of this month to issue appropriate orders.

The orders were given by Judge Justice VRK Kripasagar on Friday. Previously, a case was filed at the Tirupati East Police Station accusing MLA Adimulam of threatening and raping a woman from KBK Puram mandal in Tirupati district. The woman had made sensational allegations against MLA Adimul in a media conference in Hyderabad, leading to his suspension from the TDP party.

MLA Adimulam’s lawyer, C Raghu, argued in the High Court that the police had filed the case without conducting a preliminary investigation and that the woman had been pressured by a third person to make false allegations, involving a honeytrap. In response, K Jitender, the advocate of the victim, presented an affidavit on behalf of the woman, stating that the allegations made in the complaint to the police were false and should be taken into consideration in the case against the MLA.
