April 12: Nara Bhuvaneshwari, the wife of TDP president Chandrababu Naidu, made a significant promise regarding the completion of the Varikapudisela irrigation project, ensuring vital irrigation and drinking water access for the people of the Palnadu region. Her remarks came during a gathering organised by the Vinukonda organising committee, where she criticised the performance of the ruling YSR Congress Party.
During the event, TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh also echoed the promise of completing the Varikapudisela project if the TDP comes into power in the upcoming elections. The programme garnered strong support from party workers, leaders, and villagers, showcasing solidarity with Bhuvaneshwari’s agenda.
Bhuvaneshwari expressed disappointment with the YSRCP government’s performance, accusing them of betraying the trust of the people who had placed their faith in them. She emphasised on the lack of basic amenities like clean water under the current administration and condemned the substantial price hike in essential commodities and utilities during their tenure.
Highlighting the youth unemployment crisis, Bhuvaneshwari attributed it to the mismanagement of the YSRCP government. She also mentioned the departure of industries due to alleged harassment by YSRCP members, resulting in heightened unemployment rates and economic challenges for the state.
Furthermore, Bhuvaneshwari criticised the neglect of critical developmental projects such as the Polavaram project and alleged targeting of companies that functioned smoothly under the previous government. She cited these actions as detrimental to the state’s progress.
Encouraging the electorate to make informed decisions in the upcoming elections, Bhuvaneshwari urged them to end the YSRCP’s rule and support the TDP, Janasena, and BJP alliance. She expressed confidence in Chandrababu Naidu’s leadership and vowed reinstatement of welfare programmes if the TDP regains power.
