Bharti Airtel Denies Customer Data Breach Amid Allegations of Dark Web Sale

Bharti Airtel, a telecom service provider, denied reports of any customer data breach on Friday. The company stated that the claim was a desperate attempt to damage its reputation and that they had conducted a thorough investigation, confirming that there had been no breach from Airtel systems. This response came after an account on the dark web, named ‘xenZen’, claimed to have access to the latest database of over 375 million Airtel India customers and put it up for sale. Airtel sources also mentioned that the original individual making the claim had been banned from the hacking forum for scamming people.
