Balayya files nomination at Hindupur

Vijayawada: Senior actor and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader Nandamuri Balakrishna filed his nomination at the Hindupur assembly constituency on Friday. Accompanied by his wife Vasundhara, he led a massive rally of TDP, BJP, and Janasena party leaders and supporters to the Hindupur Returning Officer’s (RO) office, where he submitted his nomination papers.

Speaking after the nomination, Balakrishna expressed his commitment to the development of Hindupur, citing his two previous terms as MLA in the constituency. He emphasised his role in enhancing various aspects of the constituency’s infrastructure during his tenure.

“I have been fortunate to serve as the MLA of Hindupur for two terms, during which I worked towards the development of the constituency in all aspects,” Balakrishna stated. “If given the opportunity for a third term, I will continue to prioritise the welfare and progress of the people of Hindupur.”
