Amaravati: June 20 Andhra Pradesh’s capital Amaravati will host Vyjayanthi Movies’ Kalki 2898 science fiction cinema pre-release event. The Vyjayanthi Movies banner is producing the ever-highest Rs 600 crore budget movie Kalki. The producers have interesting plans for movie promotion by adding Andhra’s psychological bonding and the recent TDP victory.
The movie release event is expected to conduct the mega public meeting in Amaravati capital location in August. Vyjayanthi Movies producer Chalasani Ashwini Dutt confirmed his plan with “The Capital News”.
He is a native of Vijayawada City and an admirer of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. He contested from TDP for Vijayawada Lok Sabha once in the past. He always extended support to Chandrababu Naidu, particularly in the crisis periods. His nativity connection and Vijayawada’s bonding encouraged Ashwini Dutt to plan to organise the public meeting in AP’s capital Amaravati.
The mega-producer has plans to conduct the meeting in a two-way mode as the TDP’s landslide victory celebration meeting and movie promotion from the same dais. It may be recalled that Ashwini Dutt had extended his support to the farmers of Amaravati when the landowners and farmers were in agitation against the previous government’s three capital plans.
The producer had supported the Amaravati capital. Now the proposed public meeting will gain the attention of Telugus across the globe and it would give positive hope to the capital. Film stars like Amitabh Bachaan, Kamal Hassan, Prabhas, and several top artists acted in the movie.
All the actors including Rajani Kanth, Balakrishna, Pawan Kalyan will come and participate in the proposed public meeting. Naturally, the movie’s promotion-cum-TDP’s victory celebration meeting will draw attention globally. Several prominent political leaders including the Union Ministers will also participate and bless the development of Andhra Pradesh’s capital Amaravati.
According to sources, the State government would also give possible support for this meeting. The government provides security and reasonable cooperation for any meetings as part of the administration. Now the State government has the responsibility to encourage the film industry in Andhra Pradesh. The entire film industry is settled in Telangana’s capital Hyderabad only. In this backdrop, the Kalki’s movie meeting will be a stepping stone for the development of the film industry in the State.
TDP founder NT Rama Rao was the first hero of Vyjayanthi Movies’ first movie Yugapurushudu and he suggested the banner’s name, Vyjayanthi. Ashwini Dutt was originally a fan of NT Rama Rao. Against this backdrop, Ashwini Dutt wants to conduct the cinema movie meeting and celebration of NDA’s victory in Amaravati.
Speaking to the Capital News, he said that he wanted to conduct the public meeting in Amaravati. The date for the meeting will be finalised by taking into consideration of rains and land suitability in Amaravati villages in August, he said.
