The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has issued a stern warning to job aspirants and the public, urging them to be cautious of fraudulent job recruitment letters being circulated by unknown individuals. These fake documents falsely claim to be issued by APPSC members, misleading job seekers with promises of employment.
In a public clarification, the APPSC stressed that all official appointments are made through proper channels and procedures set by the respective departments. The Commission emphasized that no appointment letters are authorized or issued by any individual APPSC member, and urged candidates to be suspicious of any job offers allegedly coming from the member’s office. The Commission further advised job aspirants to be vigilant, refrain from paying money to anyone offering job placements or appointments, and to immediately report any suspicious activities to the authorities.
A complaint has already been lodged with the local police, and legal action is underway against those involved in creating or distributing these fake letters. For verification or inquiries, the APPSC encourages candidates to reach out via email at appschelpdesk@gmail.com or call the helpline at 0866-2527821. The Commission reminded the public that all official selection notifications, along with registered numbers, are published exclusively on its official website.
