YCP MP YV Subbareddy’s Wife and Others File Complaints Over ₹200 Crore Land Dispute in Kondapur

A legal dispute has emerged over a 2.08-acre plot of land in Kondapur, Hyderabad, valued at approximately ₹200 crore. The conflict involves YSRCP Rajya Sabha MP YV Subbareddy’s wife, Swarnalatha Reddy, and another individual named Narasimha Reddy. Both parties have filed complaints against each other, escalating the issue to police intervention.

According to Swarnalatha Reddy, she purchased the land in 2006 from Lakshmaiah and his family and subsequently leased it to L&T. After the lease ended in 2022, L&T vacated the property. Swarnalatha claims that since then, a person named A. Anil Reddy has been trying to occupy the land using his political influence.

She alleged that Anil Reddy and his associates attacked her and her family when they asked him to vacate the premises. A formal complaint regarding this incident was filed with Gachibowli police on January 5, 2025.

Meanwhile, Narasimha Reddy, represented by his watchman Sheikh Jameel, filed a counter-complaint, alleging that Swarnalatha Reddy and YV Subbareddy attempted to illegally seize the same land. Police reports suggest that Narasimha Reddy entered the property, removed signboards bearing Anil Reddy’s name, and erected new ones under his name. Swarnalatha Reddy lodged another police complaint on January 8, 2025, in response to this development.

Police have registered cases against both parties and are currently investigating the matter.
