TDP Sets New Record in Membership Registration

The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is achieving new milestones in membership registration, now reaching 7.3 million members.
The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is achieving new milestones in membership registration, now reaching 7.3 million members. Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu reviewed the membership registration progress with party leaders at the central office after the program began on October 26. The initiative is being spearheaded by the party's national general secretary, Nara Lokesh.
So far, the membership program has registered 73 lakh members, with 85,000 of them coming from Telangana state. Of the total registrations, 54 percent are new members. The top constituencies for membership include Rajampet with 118,000 members, Nellore City with 106,000, Kuppam with 104,000, Palakollu with 102,000, and Mangalagiri with 90,000 members.
Chandrababu expressed his satisfaction with the membership initiative, emphasizing that the party aims to build a strong workforce through this program. He encouraged that one in every four people should become a member of the Telugu Desam Party. Alongside this, he mentioned plans to not only provide welfare to party workers but also to empower them politically and economically.
Chandrababu outlined strategies to help party members achieve financial stability, including skill development and prioritizing access to government schemes and programs. He also highlighted the importance of increasing the per capita income of workers and ensuring that special initiatives are implemented in this regard. Furthermore, positions within the party will be awarded based on merit to those who work diligently. A plan to financially support their families at every level of the party will also be established.

*Three Ministers Assigned to Resolve Pending Bills*
The Chief Minister noted that the previous YSRCP government had stalled the Neeru Chettu and NREGA bills for political reasons. While some payments have already been made, he assured that the outstanding amounts would be paid soon. To address the challenges faced by individuals who completed their work but had not been paid, he appointed three ministers—Atchannaidu, Payyavula Keshav, and Nimmala Ramanaidu—to oversee the resolution of these pending bills. The ministers will ensure that the payments are processed according to government regulations.
