Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Visakhapatnam today, with elaborate security arrangements in place for his arrival. During the visit, the Prime Minister will virtually inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for nearly 20 projects, collectively valued at around ₹2.08 lakh crores. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, several Union and State Ministers, and other public representatives are expected to attend the event.

The Prime Minister’s itinerary includes his arrival at Visakhapatnam airport at 4:15 PM today (Wednesday). He will participate in a roadshow from 4:45 PM to 5:30 PM. Following this, from 5:30 PM to 6:45 PM, he will address a public meeting at the Andhra University Engineering College Grounds, where he will also conduct virtual inaugurations and foundation stone ceremonies for multiple projects. Later, at 6:50 PM, the Prime Minister will depart from the venue and reach Visakhapatnam airport by 7:15 PM, from where he will take a special flight to Bhubaneswar.

During the event, Prime Minister Modi will virtually lay the foundation stone for significant projects, including the headquarters of the South Coast Railway Zone in Visakhapatnam, the Green Hydrogen Hub at Pudimadaka, a Bulk Drug Park at Nakkapalli, the Krishnapatnam Industrial Node, and the doubling of railway lines on the Guntur-Bibinagar and Gooty-Pendekallu sections. Additionally, he will dedicate to the nation the six-lane bypass on National Highway 16 at Chilakaluripet, along with several other national highway and railway line projects.
