Is Chiranjeevi Joining BJP? Kishan Reddy Responds

Union Minister Kishan Reddy provided an interesting response to questions about renowned actor Chiranjeevi potentially joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The speculation arose during a Sankranti festival event hosted at Kishan Reddy's residence in Delhi, which was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chiranjeevi.

When asked by the media about Chiranjeevi's possible entry into the BJP, Kishan Reddy remarked that as a leading actor, Chiranjeevi is treated with respect and was invited to the event accordingly. However, he did not confirm or deny any political developments, leaving the topic open to interpretation.

Discussing internal processes within the BJP, Kishan Reddy highlighted that the party adheres to a structured electoral process, starting from the mandal level to the national level. He noted that the selection of district presidents is currently underway. In contrast, he criticized the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) by alleging that it functions as a family-centric party where leadership decisions are predetermined, unlike the democratic framework followed by the BJP.
