The Capital News

Vijayawada: April 8: Gone Prakasha Rao, former MLA from Telangana, expressed confidence in the electoral prospects of the alliance between the TDP, BJP, and Janasena Party in the upcoming Andhra Pradesh elections. Gone predicted that the alliance would secure between 130 to 145 assembly seats and 19 to 21 MP seats.

He mentioned JSP chief Pawan Kalyan, stating that he would win with a significant majority of 60,000 votes, indicating a shift in public sentiment away from the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP).

Criticising Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy’s governance, Rao accused him of failing to establish a capital city, generate employment opportunities for the youth, and foster overall development in the state. He alleged injustices against Reddy’s family members and highlighted issues related to the state’s liquor policy, which, according to Gone, has negatively impacted the populace.
