Devotees Visit Temples to Celebrate the New Year Occasion

On the occasion of the New Year, devotees flocked to temples, with many queuing up since early morning on Wednesday. Special prayers are being held at various temples, including the Warangal Bhadrakali Temple, Wayistambala Temple, and Kaleshwara Muktheeshwara Temple.

 

At the Bhadradri Rama Temple, Swami will give darshan to devotees in his Kurma Avatar today, while as part of the Mukkoti Ekadashi Adhyayanthosas, he will also give darshan in Dashavatar. Additionally, large crowds are gathering at Chilkur Balaji Temple, Himayathnagar, and TTD temples in Jubilee Hills.

 

Organizers anticipate that over one lakh devotees will have darshan of Chilkur Balaji, and parking and queue lines have been arranged accordingly. The darshan opportunity commenced at 4 a.m. on Wednesday.

 

AEO Ramesh stated that Srivari services, VIP darshan, and general darshan will start from 4 a.m. at the Himayath Nagar temple, while at the Jubilee Hills TTD temple, darshan and services will begin at 7 a.m. Tirupati laddus will be available for sale at both locations.

EO Penchalakishore announced that every devotee visiting the Kanipaka temple on Wednesday will be granted darshan of the Lord. He explained that at midnight on Tuesday, both the devotees and the Moola Virat will receive darshan following an abhishekam and sandalwood decoration. Darshan began at 3 a.m. on Wednesday.

 

In addition to free darshan, there are special darshan queues with fees of Rs. 100 and Rs. 150. Approximately 8,000 large laddus and 80,000 small laddus are being prepared for the devotees, and counters are being set up for purchasing prasadams.
