Bapatla TDP MLA’s liquor spilling video sparks debate

A viral video featuring Bapatla TDP MLA Vegesana Narendra Verma accidentally spilling a glass of liquor during a birthday celebration has ignited widespread discussions. The event, which took place at Pandurangapuram beach, saw the MLA, along with other leaders, including a former MLA and an MLC, engaging in festivities that have now become the talk of the town.

The celebration was organized in honor of BJP leader and former MLC from Bapatla, Annam Satish Prabhakar, whose birthday on December 11 was marked with grand festivities starting from midnight on December 10. The private gathering included prominent figures such as MLA Vegesana Narendra Verma, YSRCP leader and former MLA Anantha Varma, and a host of other leaders and followers.

During the celebrations, MLA Vegesana Narendra Verma was seen holding a glass of liquor, which he inadvertently spilled. The incident, captured on video, showed the MLA being reminded of the "protocol" for popping champagne bottles by YSRCP leader Anantha Varma. The MLA eventually opened the bottle himself amidst laughter and camaraderie.

The visuals, along with snippets of conversations, have since gone viral, sparking debates among the public. One viral clip shows a person humorously questioning whether the MLA should handle everything himself, leading to a playful exchange between the leaders.

However, the release of these internal videos, nearly a week after the event, has raised eyebrows. Some leaders suspect that the footage was deliberately leaked by attendees to stir controversy. The participation of key political representatives such as MLA Narendra Verma, a former MLA, and an MLC has amplified public interest.

Questions have been raised about the optics of such gatherings, with many debating whether the leaked visuals were a harmless glimpse into personal lives or an intentional ploy to tarnish reputations.
