Revenue Conferences Across Andhra Pradesh

Revenue conferences will be held across the state starting Friday. These conferences will take place in 17 revenue villages over the course of 33 days, during which officials will collect petitions from the public. The petitions will be discussed at the conferences, and solutions will be provided on-site whenever possible. A receipt will be issued for each petition received. Officials will visit the villages prior to the conferences.

The coalition government is taking steps to address land issues that have accumulated over the last five years of YSRCP rule. The conferences will run in all revenue villages across Andhra Pradesh from Friday until January 8. District Collector Vijayakrishnan has instructed mandal revenue officials to conduct conferences in 753 villages within the Anakapalle district according to the government's schedule.

The conferences will begin at 9 AM in the villages. Each session will include teams comprised of the Tahsildar, Revenue Assistant, concerned Village Revenue Officer (VRO), surveyor, and representatives from the registration department, forest services, endowments, and waqf board staff. The dates and locations of the revenue conferences will be communicated in advance to the public, along with local body representatives from the respective villages. Receipts will be provided for the applications submitted during the conferences, and all details will be uploaded to the relevant portal. According to government instructions, land issues must be resolved within 45 days.
