Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu took a step closer to the people of Palnadu district on Tuesday, asserting that his visit was aimed at understanding and alleviating the hardships of the poor. Participating in a pension distribution program in Yallamanda village, the Chief Minister made a personal effort to visit the homes of beneficiaries, where he handed over pension money to Sharamma, a widow raising two children after the death of her husband from COVID-19 in 2021.

“I came to share your hardships,” the CM remarked, reiterating his desire to ensure that justice is served to all sections of society. Addressing the beneficiaries, he emphasized that his mission is to uplift the lives of the poor. "We are coming to each house and providing pensions. If it were given in an office instead of at home, I would immediately send a memo," he said, highlighting the government's commitment to transparency and direct service delivery.

The Chief Minister expressed his deep personal connection to the people’s struggles, mentioning how he had not been able to smile in the last five years due to the challenges faced by the state. “I made coffee at a beneficiary’s house. This made me happy,” he shared, reinforcing his focus on grassroots development. He also spoke about his government's initiatives, including the provision of NEET coaching to Sharamma's daughter and the use of technology like drones and GPS to facilitate relief programs.

Chandrababu Naidu also reflected on his party's growth, stating that nearly 90 lakh people have joined the TDP. “The ideologies of our party should be shared with the people regularly. I will support party workers in every way,” he said, underscoring his commitment to party unity. He also announced that pensions for the month would be distributed a day earlier, on December 31st. Praising the democratic power of the people, the CM said, "People can do anything in democracy. I have seen a victory in the last election that has never been seen in 40 years. 5 crore people are my high command." In his address, Chandrababu Naidu paid tribute to former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, noting that he initiated economic reforms.

He shared his vision of a society without poverty, which he said was NTR’s dream. The Chief Minister pointed out the State’s achievements, such as the provision of pensions to 64 lakh people and the creation of Anna canteens to feed the poor, with 198 canteens already operational. Chandrababu Naidu also highlighted significant reforms in various sectors, such as the cancellation of harmful GOs affecting fishermen’s employment, the establishment of a corporation for goldsmiths, and the allocation of 10 percent for toddy tap workers in liquor shops.

The CM committed to further enhancing the agricultural sector by using drones to reduce costs and improve crop yields. “We are going to start farming through drones,” he said, assuring farmers that the government is taking steps to minimize their difficulties. He also outlined plans for solving the State’s water shortage by linking rivers and capturing surplus water from floods, aiming to make Andhra Pradesh a drought-free state.

The Chief Minister shared his vision for industrial growth, noting that companies are returning to the State after fleeing during the previous regime. "We are paying salaries to employees on the first day itself," he added, signaling a strong economic recovery under his leadership.
