Akhilesh Yadav Declares 2024 Elections Mark the End of Communal Politics in India, Celebrates INDIA Bloc’s Moral Victory

Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav stated that the 2024 Lok Sabha elections signaled the end of communal politics in India and represented a moral victory for the INDIA bloc. During the debate on the Motion of Thanks to the president’s address, the Kannauj MP referred to June 4 as the day of independence from communal politics for India, emphasizing that the entire country had recognized the pro-India stance of the INDIA bloc. He described the election as a moral victory for INDIA and a triumph of positive politics, PDA, and the social justice movement. Furthermore, he asserted that the election conveyed a message of responsibility for the INDIA bloc. Yadav also stated that June 4, 2024, marked the end of communal politics in India and the beginning of a new era of positive politics, with the victory of pro-Constitution individuals and the Constitution itself. He added that it signaled the end of top-down politics. Referring to the BJP’s defeat in Faizabad, he suggested that it might have been the wish of Lord Ram, stating “Hoi wahi jo Ram rachi rakha” (Whatever Ram has planned will happen). Yadav made this statement while Faizabad MP and SP leader Awadhesh Kumar was seated next to him.
