Vijayawada: June 12: In a spectacular display of star power and political might, megastar Chiranjeevi and superstar Rajinikanth attended the grand swearing-in ceremony of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief N Chandrababu Naidu as the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday. The event, held at the Kesarapalli IT Park in Gannavaram Mandal, Vijayawada, saw a confluence of cinema and politics like never before. Dressed in elegant white outfits, Chiranjeevi and Rajinikanth were warmly greeted by actor-politician Nandamuri Balakrishna upon their arrival.
Balakrishna, Hindupuram MLA and a towering figure in both film and political circles, was seen engaging with Union Ministers Chirag Paswan and Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu, as well as Former Tamil Nadu chief minister O Panneerselvam, on stage. Adding to the glamor, Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan made a striking appearance, bowing to the Pime Minister Narendra Modi and other digniteries on stage after taking his oath as a minister. His reverent salute to his brother, Megastar Chiranjeevi, was a touching moment that captivated the audience. Telugu hero Ram Charan, film producer Ghattamaneni Adiseshagiri Rao, and Nandamuri Chaitanya Krishna and Suhasini Harikrishna, among others, graced the occasion. Rajinikanth’s wife Lata and Pawan Kalyan’s wife Anna Lejinova also added to the distinguished guest list. As Chandrababu Naidu took his oath as chief minister and Pawan Kalyan as minister, the atmosphere turned electric.
